A BUSY WEEKEND IN DALLAS/FT. WORTH

Our weekend in the metroplex began with a fun dinner at a mexican restaurant in Dallas. Katie's college roomate & bridesmaid Laura Berg Kraus met us with her baby daughter Caroline and her mom Carol. It was so much fun to see the babies together and to see our girls as mommies! Probably not quite as fun to realize we were the grandmothers but there ya go!

Will had a checkup at Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children. This hospital is such a wonderful example of what hospitals should be like - I wish everyone could have this experience (but of course I wouldn't want everyone to have a reason for being there...) Will is always happy at this place. He loves looking at everything as we stroll through the halls (and there is a lot of cool stuff to look at!) He loves his doctors and they genuinely love him as well. He love to show them his newest trick and he had quite a conversation with Dr. Herring this time! Of course most of it was garbled. After his checkup we went upstairs to the 2nd floor where his fan club works. The (mostly) female staff in pr/marketing & develoment are always so sweet to stop what they are doing and pour out of their offices to makeover Mr. Will. They ooooh and ahhhhh and he just goes to town showing off! Of course his mommy and grandmommy throughly love all that sweet encouragement too!

Thanks so much TSRHC we continue to spread the word so that those who need you will find you and those who are inclined will help support your incredible work so you can continue to bless the lives of so many children and their families!

On this same weekend Will also visited with 3 of his great-grandparents and one who is practically a great-grandparent! Thanks so much for letting us spend the night in your home - Orville Rogers! We love being with you as you can see from the following video! Will had a great time with his "great grandad Rogers"
Then it was off to GreatGrandpa and Grandma Brown's - catching a quick dinner with them at their place in downtown Ft. Worth.

The next day we went to the Cowgirl Hall of Fame in Ft. Worth to celebrate Great Granny Jenny Sewell's 80th (Reagan's grandmother). By the way if you haven't been to this place - you need to go - tons of stuff for kids to do - a great place to celebrate with a diverse group of ages.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY JENNY!
