Weekend With Will

This is my mommy and daddy saying "bye-bye" to me ...my mommy was kinda sad to be away from me for the first time...
...they celebrated their 5th anniversary in Dallas and I got to go to my Lovie & Cookie's house in Tyler for the weekend! They had a party for me and I met a lot of people who have prayed for me since before I was born!

Saturday morning I was very busy eating breakfast, chasing Lizzie, exploring the kitchen and helping Cookie make his famous cookies!

My Cookie and Lovie took me for a neighborhood stroll and then we went to the Farmer's Market where I picked out lots of good things to eat. I especially like the tomatoes because they looked like my favorite toy - a ball!

We also went over to my Great-Grammy's house - I am going to start calling her GiGi because Great-Grammy is too big of a word for me! I chased her around the house and played with her snowglobe.

After such a busy morning I didn't put up a fuss when Lovie said we needed to rock and take a nap...

When I woke up there was a surprise in the backyard - Lovie and Cookie invited some friends from the neighborhood who were closer to my age to swim and play! We had a lot of fun splashing! David & Carol Kehl brought their grandkids Caitlin and David and we also had the Nickel kids - Lucas, Jackson, Lucy & Kate - I had a lot of fun watching them jump and dive and play!

We had lunch by the pool and then I took another nap - Cookie rocked me to sleep this time!
Saturday afternoon I woke up from my nap to find GiGi in the pool and she wanted to see me swim underwater so I showed her all my tricks.

We then strolled up the street to see our good friends Bubby & Dorothy Gordon. I wanted to give Dorothy a hug and kiss and tell her "happy 90th birthday!" I had so much fun showing them how fast I can crawl and how good I am at throwing my ball and then for my finale I decided to pull up on their coffee table and stand! They were thrilled at all my skills and clapped and clapped - I loved the attention and love that they showed me!

When we left the Gordons, we strolled over to Bergfeld Park so I could attend my first concert and see the park where mommy and Uncle Adam played when they were little kids but I was getting hungry and so we didn't stay long.

We went home and I had a yummy dinner of fresh things from the Farmers Market and then I had some more visitors! The Wards from across the street came over to see me. "Uncle" Bernie and "Aunt Cecil" couldn't believe how much I have grown and I decided to show them my latest trick and climbed up two stairs! I was so proud of myself! What a day! As my Great Aunt Carolea says "It never stops at The Browns!" Well it is hard to be bored there! I let my Lovie chase me down the hallway and then I finally stopped and dropped for the night!

We had a huge thunderstorm on Saturday night - the thunder shook the windows but that didn't wake me up! Lizzie's barking did! I was so tired I went back to sleep as soon as Lovie comforted me. On Sunday morning I read the last card that my Mommy & Daddy sent (they sent cards every day to me - do they love me or what?!!!) then I shared my cheerios with Lizzie. I played while Lovie packed and the second we got in the car I crashed!

We met my Mommy & Daddy in Dallas and I think my Mommy was very happy to see me...what do you think?!!!
